Up to Seven viewing modes are available with Deluxe GeoVISION™ systems • GeoVISION™ system cameras are usually lowered into the borehole viewing down. In small and moderate size bores this is adequate. When one wants to view to the side or back up the borehole, or view into a crevice or mine, there are several other choices. • Motorized Pan and Tilt option with the Jr and Standard cameras. One may view 360 degrees by panning and tilt up and down 170 degrees with the motorized pan and tilt attachment. This option allows one to view in any direction with the operation of the joystick on the control panel. • One can manually pan and tilt with the Jr and Standard cameras by using a pipe string and the GeoVISION™ supplied manual head tilting assembly. The operator can view in any direction including up by pulling on the power cable and by turning the pipe. All GeoVISION™ systems have a threaded pipe-fitting, ready for attaching a user supplied pipe string. The camera can be pushed or pulle

Equipment Considerations and Special Situations WWW.ACISA.BIZ Measuring and Recording the Camera Depth Verbal or Visual Depth Recording Footage is marked on all GeoVISION™ system cables.  One can record the camera depth on a Digital video recorder,  or other recording device by speaking into a microphone. The audio information is added to any recording made using the GeoVISION system’s audio circuitry. Most users who produce recordings of their borehole work prefer to have the depth record on the screen, and their customers appreciate this service as well. The On Screen Camera Depth Display (OSD) is standard with the Deluxe System and optional with the Heavy Duty Econo. It will place the camera’s depth in feet or meters in any corner or centered on the video screen and will appear on the recorded video. The depth indicator may also be turned off.  The footage counter encoder-wheel with clamp assembly and the OSD control box are part of the OSD attachment. Cable
